Hey there! Let me share a bit about myself and how LuxiLoom came to be.
Deep down, I've always wanted to be a part of something big but never knew how to. I've struggled with super dry skin for years, with it getting all scaly and cracked no matter how much lotion I slathered on. It was so frustrating to put on moisturizer before heading out, only to find my skin feeling dry and uncomfortable soon after.
As a medical assistant, my hands endure the effects of constant sanitization, often leaving them uncomfortably dry. Despite trying various lotions, none seemed to provide lasting relief. That's when I had an idea: what if I crafted my own moisturizer?
After weeks of research into different ingredients, I discovered body butters. However, I faced the challenge of their tendency to melt in the summer heat. Determined to find a solution, I continued my research until I developed a no-melting formulation, prioritizing simplicity and naturalness in the ingredients.
That's when I embarked on a quest to create the ultimate moisturizer – one that wouldn't just sit on the surface, but would deeply nourish and sustain hydration for hours on end. And let me tell you, it's been quite a journey. From researching natural ingredients to perfecting the formula. I also said nope to colors and glitters since I wanted my butters to be as natural and clean as possible.
This project quickly became my passion and a form of stress relief. Despite my busy schedule as a mother of two and full time job, I make time each day to work on this project, enjoying the process and the results.
I hope that my body butters can reach people dealing with the same issues and who believe in the power of natural ingredients for skincare.
